Long time no hear! Well, currently I'm working on something that's promising to be lots of fun!
I'm making a Mahjongg vault for my HP. Also I'm going to redisign my HP.
More important than that: I'm goint to make Themes for Kyodai Mahjongg. The WeiKreuz titleset for example will be part of a WeiKreuz Theme.
Unfortunately there's only one theme that is already finished: That's a Dir En Grey theme. But in fact I want to have at least ten different themes before I even open the Mahjongg vault. | comments: Leave a comment   |

| MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I've been a very busy little Berserky the last few... um... however long it took me to write into my LJ again.
What did I do today:
- 2 oekakis. Both can be found on the oekaki board of www.sailor-games.com . One is on the Vets board the other is on the General Board Right.
- Cooked a fabulous dinner for me and my sweetheart <3

| We just got home from the RPG weekend Alex invited us to. It was really fun ^-^
I was some sort of mini campain. The sorcerer I created for this is really fun to play :) His name is Randy, he's human and chaotic neutral. He's got one a helluva lot charisma, very good dexterity, decent condition, above average intelligence and below average strength and wisdom. (STR: 9, DEX 16, CON 14, INT 12, WIS 9, CHA 19).
In the adventure he was hirede by a mage to go to an island and bring some examples of the plants and animals there. So he went to get some people to accompany him in his mission...by placing letters in the city "adventurers wanted. Lots of money, lots of action, lots of fun..."
His ideas were not that bad (in general) but somehow you couldn't help but think "what an idiot".

| The last few days I did not make any more dolls. That's mainly because I played Neverwinter Nights. I was just in the mood for doing that.
When the game gets old there will be several things I should de. First there are still some oekaki requests open with characters I either don't know or don't like or both. Meh -_- ;;

| We brought my old PC today. We still need a 0-modem calble to make a network with my new PC and then I'll get all this decent stuff I'm missing soooo much :)
Back in the days I spent so much time on utterly useless things, but HEY! They were so muich fun! Like taking tiny pieces of sounds from wrestling promos - or - and that may very well be one of the most useless things I ever did - make a script to wrestling promos.
I still remeber making the script to Bret Hart's comback speech/first anti-american speech on Raw at the beginning of 1997. The thing ends with Shawn Michaels interfering and the enitre thing was just too good (not that I would like Bret Hart, but he made such an ass out of himself it was just so hilarious!).
I sometimes wish I still had the time to do all these useless fun things... Or maybe I'll think the same way about whatever I spend my free time with right now in a few years?

| This was done the way maaaaaany, many tutorials sujest how you should do your dolls. Icluding use of Photoshop's full features, which takes away the pixel-ish effect from the PIXEL dolls. I still like theoutcome, though I wouldn't call it a pixel doll anymore...

| Well, first I thought that the craft of doll making - in particular the craft of doll bases making (because once you got the base the rest will be a piece of cake) was about some geometric objects and lines that pull them together... like when I first learned drawing more complex objects... like:
1 oval and another oval, a litlle bigger oval, a huge oval anther helping oval, 2 squares and - WOW - You got an elephant. That's however how the book sujested how to draw an elephant my neighbour gave to me when I was 5.
I did not exactly follow the sujestions (the main problem was the not so oval-ish shade of my ovals, I guess...).
Same goes for doll makers.
Today I surfed a little bit for dolls, bases and tutorials... and I had to discover that the common way to make a base doll has nothing to do with oval (hooray, the world is saved!). The method is FAR more complicated...

You just take a picture and draw the damn outlines and leave the head blank - that you'll draw by yourself later -_-;;;;
I personally would consider that as "cheating". But since every doll maker site I found sujested this technic, I guess it's perfectly legal. -_-;;;;;;;;
No ovals *sniff*. Not that I would like ovals all that much anyway (my overall oval shade is still not all that oval-ish, but it's much better and I have programs that can make perfect ovals...
So I've been spending the rest of the day making outlines for base dolls (= drawing the outlines of people on photos... this reminded me again onf the time when I refused to use the oval technic.... -_-;;;)
Well... so it'd be. I guess if I create enough dolls I think I can actually create a subpage to my homepage where you can adopt dolls. It would be the "visual doll house" featuring lotsa visual kei dolls and some wrestling dolls and maybe a few misc dolls.

Well, this is it. I thought i'd try something new and try making pixel dolls. This is the one I did. It's not bad, I guess. The first one (Kaoru) was. I deleted it (or better: I did not save it.
I think I still need a lot more practise to make real good dolls. At least I can't use my tablet. This is good because me and my new tablet... well.. let's say we don't get along all that well... Beside the fact that I have a new livejournal, several other things happened lately ;) First my new homepage is finished! Yay! So far the good news.
More sadly, on the other hand: My tablet got broken yesterday. I really don't know. Somehow this is not the year of tablets :( I emidiately went to buy a new one. In the whole damn city I found two different tablets. The first one from Logitech for 70 and the second from WACOM for 60
Well, now I have a tablet with "Wacom" on it. I still liked my old one a lot better :-/ It had bigger workiing space and Me thinks it was more exact :(
